Ultracompact & always with you

The Baby Carrier Lite Ultracompact from Tula is the ideal solution for all parents who want to stay flexible. It can be completely stored in the hip belt and is therefore always ready to use when your child gets tired and wants to be carried. Despite its compact design, it offers ergonomic support and is suitable for children from 5.4 to 13.6 kg.

The wide hip belt features a spacious pocket where you can store important items such as tissues, a pacifier, or small snacks. This way you have everything you need on the go without having to carry an extra bag.

The M-position supports healthy hip development and is certified by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. A detachable hood protects your baby while sleeping or in the sunshine.

With an ergonomic fit and a back panel measuring 38.1 cm in height and 31 cm in width, the Lite Ultracompact offers your baby secure support and provides you with a light, comfortable carrying experience in everyday life.

WARNINGS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING!

RISK OF FALLING OUT – Children can slip through a too large leg opening or fall out of the carrier.
• Adjust the leg openings so that they fit the baby's legs optimally.
• Before each use, ensure that all fastenings are closed.
• Be especially careful when bending forward or walking.
• Never bend from the hips; bend your knees.
• NOT for children under 5.4 kg. • The carrier is only designed for children between 5.4 kg and 13.6 kg.
CHOKING HAZARD – Babies younger than 4 months can suffocate in this product if their face is pressed too closely against your body.
• Do not buckle your child too tightly against your body.
• Ensure sufficient freedom of movement for the head.
• Always keep your child's face free from any obstructions.
• If you breastfeed your child in the carrier, always turn them afterwards so that their face is not pressed against your body.
WARNING:
• Continuously supervise your child and ensure that the mouth and nose are free while using this product.
• For premature babies, children with low birth weight or health problems, consult a doctor before using this product.
• Ensure your child's chin is not resting on their chest and their breathing is not restricted, which could lead to a risk of suffocation.
• To avoid the risk of falling out, ensure the child is securely positioned in the carrier.
• This carrier is not suitable for the front-facing tummy carry position.
• Use the back carry position only when head and neck muscles are sufficiently developed and the child shows strong and steady control of head and neck.
• Do not exceed the maximum capacity of 1.4 kg when using the storage pouch for personal items while carrying a child.
• Never use the storage pouch for sharp or bulky items that could affect your baby's comfort or position in the carrier.
• To avoid injury to your child when practising placing your child in the carrier, do so over a bed or other padded surface and with the help of another adult. Be especially careful
when the child is carried on the back.
• Be cautious when carrying a child weighing more than 20% of your own body weight. To prevent injury or overexertion of the person using the carrier, carrying time may need to be reduced.
• We recommend wearing the hip belt higher and carrying the child high in the back position to avoid unnecessary strain on the caregiver with heavier children.
• Your balance may be affected by your body movement or the child's movement.
• Please be careful when bending down, leaning forward or to the side.
• Never leave your child unattended in or near the carrier.
• This carrier is not suitable for use during sporting activities (e.g., running, cycling, swimming or skiing).
• Consult your doctor if you have any doubts regarding the use of this product.
• Ensure your child is securely positioned in the carrier and that the head is adequately supported.
• Practice putting on the carrier before use.
• Never use this product if your balance or mobility is impaired due to training, drowsiness or health complaints.
• Never use the carrier while cooking or cleaning, as these activities involve heat sources or chemicals.
• Never wear the carrier while driving or as a passenger in a car.
• When drinking hot beverages, be careful not to spill hot drinks on the child while using the carrier.
• Never open the hip belt while the child is in the carrier.
• Be aware that the risk of falling from the carrier increases with the child's activity.
• Always carry only one child at a time in the carrier.
• Your child's chin must NEVER rest on their chest, as this partially blocks the windpipe. There should always be at least two fingers' width space under your child's chin. The person carrying must ensure
that the child can breathe freely and unobstructed AT ALL TIMES.
• Premature infants, infants with breathing difficulties and infants under
4 months are particularly at risk of suffocation.
• Pay attention to the correct position of your child including their legs. The child's position must be checked regularly to ensure that the child is sitting correctly, centred, with bent legs and raised head in the carrier and does not slump down or to the side. Please regularly ensure that your child's legs and feet are not restricted in the carrier.
• When using the hood, please ensure it does NOT completely cover your child's head and check your child regularly. Ensure there is sufficient opening for good airflow.
• Ensure the child's fingers are not caught in a buckle opening or gap where the child could injure themselves. Close the buckles completely when the carrier is not in use.
• Keep the carrier out of reach of children when not in use.
• Before each use, ensure all buckles, fastenings, straps and adjustments are secured. Regularly check the baby carrier for signs of wear and damage. Never use a carrier that is damaged in any way. Inspect your product before each use for torn seams, torn straps or fabrics, and damaged fastenings. Regularly check during use that straps and buckles are functional, securely closed and properly fitted.
• Do not change the carrying position while your child is in the carrier. Remove your child from the carrier before changing the carrier's position.
• Use and placing down of the carrier should whenever possible be done near a safe place for the child to be placed and in a safe location.
• Smaller children and adults with a short torso should wear the hip belt higher on the body so that the head is positioned close enough to kiss the child when carried in front. Persons with a long torso should
wear the hip belt approximately at the level of the navel.
• The carrier should only be used once the wearer has properly understood the instructions
and safety features and is familiar
with using the carrier.
• This carrier may only be used by adults in good health.
• The carrier must not be used by persons with health problems that could impair the safe use of this product.
• If carrying in the carrier causes shoulder, back or neck problems,
stop using and seek medical advice.
• If your child shows signs of discomfort after a certain time, stop using your carrier until your child can be carried comfortably.
• Always check that the child is sitting comfortably and whether their temperature changes.
