Vtech Baby monitor BM4300 - owl

With the baby monitor BM4300 in the owlsdesign of Vtech you have your sleeping baby always in view. The zoomable and panning camera provides good pictures even at night and can be mounted variably thanks to the supplied mounting bracket. With the intercom function of the parent unit you can calm your little treasure. Vibration, connection and temperature alarms ensure optimum safety. And that over a distance of up to 300 meters.

Camera functions

The remote-controlled camera delivers a fluid and crisp moving image to the parent unit. It can be rotated and swivelled and automatically switches to infrared night vision in the dark. So you have your little one also in the middle of the night well in the view. The zoom function allows you to take a close look at your little sleep. The camera comes with power supply, convenient wall mount and temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is so useful that the baby monitor warns you if the temperature in the nursery rises too high or drops too low. You can set the temperature range yourself beforehand. You can also choose between different pre-installed levels for sensitivity to volume. So if your little one is babbling or sighing while asleep, you can lower the sensitivity of the microphone to avoid being woken up by it.

If it doesn't work out the way you want it to with falling asleep, you can calm your baby down quickly with the intercom function and sing to sleep or tell a little story. Or you can let the camera take over that can play five songs to trick you. In case your little angel prefers it more natural, the camera part can also play 4 different natural sounds. The camera is supplied with power via the included power adapter. A big plus, however, is the owl shape of the camera: it doesn't look like a technical stranger in the room of your little treasure. You can easily set them up or attach them to the wall using the supplied bracket. That looks like the owl on a ledge and watches over your little one.

Parent unit functions

The parent unit is the speaker, screen and remote control of the camera at the same time. It has a 4.3-inch display and many clearly arranged controls that make it easy to click through the menu. You can also customize the brightness of the screen. This is very convenient, especially when you yourself have woken up in the middle of the night and your eyes need to adjust to the brightness first. LEDs are mounted at the top of the screen to inform you about the function of the device when it is switched on. The parent unit can be operated with a power supply unit or a lithium polymer battery. In battery mode, a control light informs you about the energy status of the battery. You can also set the device to warn you via vibration if the battery charge is too low, the connection status is poor or the temperature alarm is activated.
