Practical set for flexible family outings
From the first walk to the next family trip: with this ABC Design 3-piece stroller set you are equipped for many everyday situations. The combi stroller Salsa 5 Air accompanies your child from birth up to a weight of 22 kg with carrycot and seat unit. Included are the infant car seat Calla i-Size as well as suitable adapters for attachment to the stroller frame.
This allows you to flexibly switch between carrycot, seat unit, and infant car seat. Especially practical: the Calla i-Size offers an adjustable recline function that can be used both in the car and on the stroller.
Comfortable on every walk
The ABC Design Salsa 5 Air from the 2025 collection impresses with large, ball-bearing air-filled wheels and central suspension. This allows it to be comfortably manoeuvred both in the city and on gravel paths, cobblestones, as well as forest and field trails. The height-adjustable pushbar and generous legroom make pushing easier. For shopping and outing essentials, a spacious basket with a load capacity of up to 5 kg is available.
Cozy carrycot & growing seat unit
In the carrycot, your newborn lies on the soft CozyCloud® mattress with breathable cold foam and vertical air channels. Two ventilation windows made of mesh fabric and the large hood with UV protection 50+ complement the comfort. Thanks to the Quick-Fold function, the carrycot can be folded compactly. The memory function makes releasing the hood fasteners easier.
As soon as your child can sit, the reversible seat unit comes into use. The backrest and footrest are adjustable in multiple positions, including a flat recline position. The magnetic HappyBelt® 5-point harness system, comfort seat insert, and ventilation window in the backrest provide a pleasant setup.
Ergonomic on the go from birth
The ABC Design infant car seat Calla i-Size is suitable for babies and preemies with a height of 40 to 87 cm and a weight up to 13 kg. It is approved according to ECE R129 (i-Size) and features integrated side impact protection.
A special highlight is the threefold adjustable sitting and lying position. The flat recline function can be used both in the car and on the stroller. A removable seat reducer, the height-adjustable headrest with automatically adjusted shoulder straps, and side ventilation elements enhance comfort. The sun canopy offers UV protection 50+.
Practical travel system & easy change
With the included infant car seat adapters, you can attach the Calla i-Size to the frame of the Salsa 5 Air. This allows your baby to be transported further in the stroller after a car ride without having to be removed from the infant car seat for repositioning.
In the car, the infant car seat is installed rear-facing with the 3-point vehicle belt or the separately available Isofix base Root. Both attachment methods allow the use of the various sitting and lying positions.

• This product is not suitable for jogging or skating
• This product is suitable for children from 6 - 48 months (with carry cot/ carry basket from birth) or up to a maximum weight of 22 kg, whichever comes first.
• This product is designed for the use of one child.
• The parking brake must be engaged when placing or removing the child.
• The shopping net can be loaded up to a weight of 5 kg.
• Any loads attached to the handlebar, back, backrest or sides of the stroller impair the stability of the stroller.

Carry Basket

Never use this carry basket on a stand
• Use only on a firm, horizontal, dry surface.
• Do not allow other children to play unattended near the carry basket.
• Do not use the carry basket if parts are broken, torn or missing.
• Do not leave the flexible carrying handles inside the carry basket.
• Use only approved accessories from your manufacturer.
• Keep this product away from fire and other heat sources.
• Use only the mattress supplied and do not use an additional mattress in the carry basket.
• Regularly check the carry straps and base for damage.
• If your carry basket has carrying loops attached, these must not be inside the stroller attachment during use.
• Ensure that your child’s head is always positioned higher than the rest of the body.
Baby Car Seat
This is a universal, extended child restraint system with safety belt. It is approved according to UN Regulation No. 129 i-Size for primary use in “universal seating positions” as described by the vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle user manual. If in doubt, contact the manufacturer of the extended child restraint system or your dealer.
• Correct installation is likely if the vehicle manufacturer states in the vehicle manual that the vehicle is suitable for a “universal” child restraint system of this age group.
• This child restraint system is classified under stricter conditions than “universal” compared to earlier models without this notice.
• In case of doubt, please contact the manufacturer or seller of the child restraint system.
WARNING:
• The safety of the child seat is only guaranteed by the manufacturer if used by the first purchaser. For this reason, it is not recommended to buy a second-hand seat.
• The child car seat should not be used more than 5 years after purchase. The quality of the seat may be imperceptibly impaired by heavy use.
WARNING:
• Use the child seat only on forward-facing car seats.
• Foldable car seats must be firmly locked.
• If the child seat is installed on the front passenger seat, the seat must be pushed as far back as possible.
• The child seat must not be used on car seats with airbag protection. If necessary, deactivate the airbag (ask your car dealer).
• The backrest of the front passenger seat must be in the fully upright position. An adjustable headrest must be pushed to the lowest position.
• The child seat must not be caught in the car door or foldable seats; no heavy objects may lie on the child seat.
• Never hold your baby on your lap in the car. You cannot hold your baby against the immense forces that can occur in an accident.
• Never place the car belt around yourself and the child.
• No modifications may be made to the child seat or the belts.
• Ensure that the car safety belt is not damaged and is fully functional.
• All belts intended to secure the restraint system must be tightened. The belts holding the child must be fitted tightly. Make sure these belts are not twisted.
• Never leave your baby in the child seat for too long. Although the child seat offers optimal comfort, your child must regularly lie on their stomach. This supports healthy development.
• To avoid unnecessary heat stress for your child, the baby seat should not be exposed to direct sunlight when not in use. Parts of the child seat could become hot and burn your child.
• Use the child seat even on short journeys.

• Never leave your child unattended in the child seat or in the car.
• Set a good example and always fasten your seatbelt.
• Teach your child never to play with the buckle.
• Take short breaks on longer journeys so your child can recover from the strain of travel outside the vehicle.
• To ensure your child’s safety, please read these instructions carefully and follow the assembly instructions exactly. The child seat is tested and approved according to the European safety standard ECE R129. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approx. 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• The child seat can only guarantee safety if used correctly.
• The child seat can be secured with a three-point automatic belt on both the front passenger seat and the rear seats, provided it complies with regulation ECE R16 or an equivalent standard.
We recommend placing the seat on the rear bench.
• The baby seat must not be secured with only the pelvic belt.
• In the car, the child seat must always be secured with the car belts, even if no child is in it.
• A loosely fitted seat can injure vehicle occupants during emergency braking or an accident.
• Children have a strong urge to move and should therefore always remain strapped in the baby seat, even outside the car.
• Make sure the seat is not damaged by being caught in the vehicle door, rotating car seats, items placed on the child seat (e.g. luggage) or similar.
• Do not make any changes to your child seat. This could impair the safety of the seat.
• After an accident (even at low impact speeds over 10 km/h), damage may have occurred to the child car seat that is not necessarily visible. In this case, the child car seat must be replaced. Please dispose of it properly.
• We recommend checking before purchasing the child seat whether it can be properly installed.
• Make sure all luggage and items that could injure occupants in the event of an accident or heavy braking are properly secured.
• Never place the child seat with the child in it on an elevated surface such as a table, work surface, bed or shopping trolley.

• The instruction manual should be stored in the designated storage compartment of the child seat.
• The child restraint system must not be used without the fabric cover.
• Since the fabric covers are an essential part of the restraint system, they may only be replaced with fabric covers recommended by the manufacturer.
• Keep the instruction manual in the designated compartment.
• Consult your vehicle manual for the location of the Isofix anchor points and the correct installation of I-Size restraint systems.
