From the first walk to the next family outing: With this ABC Design 4-piece car seat system, you are versatile equipped. The Combi stroller Salsa 5 Air accompanies your child with carrycot and toddler seat from birth up to a weight of 22 kg. Included are the Infant car seat Calla i-Size, matching stroller adapters, and the Isofix Base Root.
This allows you to flexibly switch between carrycot, toddler seat, and infant car seat. The Calla i-Size offers an adjustable recline function for both the car and the stroller. The Isofix Base Root completes the set with a practical fastening solution for compatible car seats.
Comfortable on Every Walk
The ABC Design Salsa 5 Air from the 2025 collection impresses with large, ball-bearing air-filled wheels and central suspension. It is suitable for walks in the city as well as for light terrain with gravel paths, cobblestones, and forest and field trails.
The height-adjustable push handle and generous legroom make pushing easier. A spacious shopping basket offers room for groceries and outing essentials. After the ride, the chassis can be folded compactly.
Cozy Carrycot & Growing Toddler Seat
In the carrycot, your newborn lies on the soft CozyCloud® mattress made of breathable cold foam. Two mesh ventilation windows and the large sun canopy with UV protection 50+ complete the equipment. Thanks to the quick-fold function, the carrycot can be folded space-savingly. The memory function facilitates operating the canopy.
As soon as your child can sit, the reversible toddler seat is used. The backrest and footrest are adjustable in multiple positions, including a flat recline. The magnetic HappyBelt® 5-point harness system, the soft comfort seat insert, and the ventilation window in the backrest provide additional comfort.
Ergonomic on the Go from Birth
The ABC Design infant car seat Calla i-Size is suitable for babies and preemies with a height of 40 to 87 cm and a weight up to 13 kg. It is approved according to ECE R129 (i-Size) and features integrated side impact protection.
A special highlight is the threefold adjustable seat and recline position, which can be used both in the car and on the stroller. A removable seat reducer, the height-adjustable headrest with automatically adapted shoulder straps, and side ventilation elements complete the equipment.
Comfortable Installation
The ABC Design Isofix Base Root is attached to the vehicle's Isofix anchorage points. A colour indicator supports checking the correct installation, while the height-adjustable support leg provides additional stability.
Thanks to the 360° swivel function, compatible car seats can be turned sideways towards the vehicle door. This makes it easier to place and buckle your child in. The base also features a swivel lock and can be folded space-savingly when not in use.
Practical Travel System & Flexible Switching
With the included infant car seat adapters, the Calla i-Size can be attached to the Salsa 5 Air chassis. This way, you can continue transporting your sleeping baby in the stroller after a car journey without having to remove it from the infant car seat.

• This product is suitable for children aged 6 - 48 months (with carrycot from birth) or up to a maximum weight of 22 kg, whichever comes first.
• This product is designed for use by one child.
• The parking brake must be engaged when placing or removing the child.
• The shopping basket can be loaded up to a weight of 5 kg.
• Any loads attached to the handlebar, back, backrest, or sides of the stroller affect the stability of the stroller.

Carrycot
• This product is suitable for a child who cannot sit independently, turn over, or push up on their hands and knees. Maximum child weight: 9 kg
Never use this carrycot on a stand
• Use only on a firm, level, dry surface.
• Do not allow other children to play unattended near the carrycot.
• Do not use the carrycot if parts are broken, torn, or missing.
• Do not leave the flexible carrying handles inside the carrycot.
• Use only approved accessories from the manufacturer.
• Keep this product away from fire and other heat sources.
• Use only the mattress included in the delivery and do not add an additional mattress to the carrycot.
• Regularly check the carrying straps and base for damage.
• If carrying loops are attached to your carrycot, these must not be inside the stroller attachment during use.
• Ensure the child’s head is always positioned higher than the rest of the body.
Infant Carrier
This is a universal, extended child restraint system with safety harness. It is approved according to UN Regulation No. 129 i-Size for primary use in "universal seating positions" as described by the vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle user manual. If in doubt, contact the manufacturer of the extended child restraint system or your dealer.
• Correct installation is likely if the vehicle manufacturer states in the vehicle manual that the vehicle is suitable for a "universal" child restraint system of this age group.
• This child restraint system is classified under stricter conditions as "universal" than earlier models that do not carry this label.
• In case of doubt, please contact the manufacturer or seller of the child restraint system.
WARNING:
• The safety of the child seat is only guaranteed by the manufacturer if used by the first purchaser. For this reason, it is not recommended to buy a second-hand seat.
• The child car seat should not be used more than 5 years after purchase. The quality of the seat may be imperceptibly impaired by heavy use.
WARNING:
• Use the child seat only on forward-facing car seats.
• Foldable car seats must be securely locked.
• If the child seat is installed on the front passenger seat, the seat must be pushed as far back as possible.
• The child seat must not be used on car seats with active airbags. Deactivate airbags if necessary (consult your car dealer).
• The backrest of the front passenger seat must be in the fully upright position. An adjustable headrest must be pushed to the lowest position.
• The child seat must not be caught in the car door or foldable seats; no heavy objects should lie on the child seat.
• Never hold your baby on your lap in the car. You cannot hold your baby against the immense forces released in an accident.
• Never place the car belt around yourself and the child.
• Do not make any modifications to the child seat or its belts.
• Ensure the car seat belt is undamaged and fully functional.
• All belts intended to secure the restraint system must be tightened. The belts holding the child must be fastened tightly. Ensure these belts are not twisted.
• Never leave your baby in the child seat for too long. Although the child seat offers optimal comfort, your child must regularly lie on their tummy to support healthy development.
• To avoid unnecessary heat stress, do not expose the baby seat to direct sunlight when not in use. Parts of the child seat may become hot and burn your child.
• Use the child seat even on short journeys.

• Never leave your child unattended in the child seat or in the car.
• Set a good example and always fasten your seatbelt.
• Teach your child never to play with the buckle.
• Take regular breaks on longer journeys so your child can recover from travel fatigue outside the vehicle.
• To ensure your child’s safety, please read these instructions carefully and follow the assembly instructions exactly. The child seat is tested and approved according to the European safety standard ECE R129. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approx. 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• The child seat can only guarantee safety if used correctly.
• The child seat can be secured with a three-point automatic belt both on the front passenger seat and rear seats, provided it complies with regulation ECE R16 or an equivalent standard.
We recommend placing the seat on the rear seat.
• The baby seat must not be secured with the pelvic belt alone.
• The child seat must always be secured with the car belts, even if no child is in it.
• A loosely fitted seat can injure vehicle occupants in an emergency stop or accident.
• Children have a strong urge to move and should therefore always remain strapped in the baby seat, even outside the car.
• Ensure the seat is not damaged by being pinched in the vehicle door, rotating car seats, objects placed on the child seat (e.g., luggage), or similar.
• Do not make any modifications to your child seat. This could compromise the safety of the seat.
• After an accident (even at low impact speeds over 10 km/h), damage may have occurred to the car child seat that is not necessarily obvious. In this case, the car child seat must be replaced. Please dispose of it properly.
• We recommend checking before purchase whether the child seat can be properly installed.
• Ensure all luggage and objects that could injure occupants in an accident or during heavy braking are sufficiently secured.
• Never place the child seat with the child in it on an elevated surface such as a table, work surface, bed, or shopping trolley.

• The child restraint system must not be used without the fabric cover.
