WARNINGS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING!

Do not use the child seat on a seat where a front airbag is activated.
This is a child restraint system of the i-Size category.
It has been approved according to Regulation No. 129 for use on those vehicle seats which, according to the vehicle manufacturer’s information in the vehicle manual, are suitable for i-Size restraint systems.
In case of doubt, the manufacturer of the child restraint system or the retailer can be consulted. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approx. 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• Correct installation is likely if the vehicle manufacturer states in the vehicle manual that the vehicle is suitable for a “universal” child restraint device of this age group.
• This child restraint device has been classified under stricter conditions as “universal” than previous models that do not carry this notice.

• In case of doubt, please contact the manufacturer or the seller of the child restraint device.

• The safety of the child seat is only guaranteed by the manufacturer if used by the first purchaser. For this reason, it is not recommended to buy a second-hand seat.
• The child car seat should not be used more than 5 years after the date of purchase. The quality of the seat may be imperceptibly impaired due to heavy use.
• Use the child seat only on forward-facing car seats.
• Folding car seats must be securely locked.
• If the child seat is installed on the front passenger seat, the passenger seat must be pushed as far back as possible.
• The child seat must not be used on car seats with airbag protection. Deactivate the airbag if necessary (ask your car dealer).
• The backrest of the front passenger seat must be set to a fully upright position. An adjustable headrest must be pushed to the lowest position.
• The child seat must not be caught in the car door or in folding seats; no heavy objects may lie on the child seat.
• Never hold your baby on your lap in the car. You cannot hold your baby against the immense forces released in an accident.
• Never place the car belt around yourself and the child.
• No modifications may be made to the child seat or the belts.
• Make sure that the car safety belt is not damaged and is fully functional.
• All belts intended to secure the restraint system must be tightened. The belts holding the child must be fitted tightly. Ensure that these belts are not twisted.
• Never leave your baby in the child seat for too long. Although the child seat offers optimal comfort, your child must regularly lie on their tummy. This supports their healthy development.
• To avoid unnecessary heat exposure, the baby seat should not be exposed to direct sunlight when not in use. Parts of the child seat could become hot and burn your child.
• Use the child seat even on short journeys.
Most accidents happen precisely here.
• Never leave your child unattended in the child seat or in the car.
• Set a good example and always fasten your seatbelt.
• Teach your child never to play with the buckle.
• Take short breaks during long journeys so that your child has the opportunity to recover from the strain of the trip outside the vehicle.
• To ensure your child’s safety, please read these instructions carefully,
and follow the specified installation instructions exactly.
• The child seat is tested and approved according to the European safety standard ECE R129. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approx. 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• The child seat can only guarantee safety if used correctly.
• The child seat can be secured with a three-point automatic belt both on the front passenger seat and on the rear seats, provided it complies with Regulation ECE R16 or an equivalent standard.
We recommend placing the seat on the rear bench.
• The baby seat must not be secured with the lap belt alone.
• In the car, the child seat must always be secured with the car belts, even if there is no child in it.
• A loosely installed seat can injure car occupants in an emergency brake or accident.
• Children have a strong urge to move and should therefore always remain buckled in the baby seat, even outside the car.
• Ensure the seat is not damaged by being trapped in the vehicle door, swivel car seats, objects placed on the child seat (e.g., luggage) or similar.
• Do not make any changes to your child seat. The safety of the seat could be impaired.
• After an accident (even at low impact speeds above 10 km/h), damage may have occurred to the child car seat that is not necessarily visible. In this case, the child car seat must be replaced. Please dispose of it properly.
• We recommend checking before purchasing the child seat whether it can be properly installed.
• Ensure that all luggage and objects that could injure occupants in the event of an accident or strong braking are securely stowed.
• Never place the child seat with the child in it on an elevated surface such as a table, work surface, bed or shopping trolley.
The seat with the baby in it could fall.
• The instruction manual should be kept in the designated storage compartment of the child seat.
• The child restraint system must not be used without the fabric cover.
• Since the fabric covers are an essential part of the restraint system, they may only be replaced with fabric covers recommended by the manufacturer.
• Keep the instruction manual in the designated compartment.
• Consult your vehicle manual for the position of the Isofix anchorages and the correct installation of i-Size restraint systems.

Remove all bags and packaging materials before use.
