Safe & close to the parents’ bed
With the babybay bedside crib Maxi extra large – also for twins – white lacquered, your little treasure is very close to you at night and still has their own safe sleeping place. The lying surface is steplessly height-adjustable and can be precisely adapted to the mattress of the parents’ bed. This means the cot is flush with you at the same height, without any gap or step between you. This way, you can comfortably reach or take your little one to you at any time without having to get up. For twins or simply more space: the 89 x 51 cm lying surface is particularly large.
Thoughtful & long-lasting use
To prevent the cot from slipping away, you fix it with one hand and without tools using the included mounting brackets to your bed – whether on narrow or wide bed frames. When no longer needed as a bedside crib, the babybay Maxi can easily be converted: as a bench, play table or with separately available accessories as a bassinet, high chair, playpen and much more, it continues to look good. Made of solid, naturally antibacterial beech wood from local forests, it is robust and will provide faithful service for a long time.

WARNING - Read the operating instructions before using this product.
WARNING - Discontinue use of this product as soon as the child can sit or kneel or pull themselves up. For further use, we recommend the optional cot extension.
WARNING - Only mattresses and accessories approved by Tobi GmbH & Co.KG for this model may be used.
WARNING - Placing additional objects inside the product can lead to suffocation.
WARNING - Do not place the product near another product that could pose a choking or risk of strangulation, e.g. cords, roller/blind cords, etc.
WARNING - Do not use more than one mattress in the product.
WARNING - To avoid the risk of strangulation for your child, the connection system with the adult bed must always be kept away from and outside the cot.
WARNING - If the baby becomes too active, we recommend using the optional safety gate.
WARNING - babybay must never be used unattached from the adult bed without the optional safety gate.
WARNING – Never leave your baby lying or sleeping unattended.
• For indoor use only
• babybay must be placed on a level surface.
• Ensure that small children do not play unsupervised near babybay.
• All assembly fittings must be properly tightened; check for any loose screws where the child could get caught with body parts or clothing (for example cords, necklaces, ribbons for pacifiers, etc.) and thus risk strangulation.
• Never place babybay near open flames or other strong heat sources such as electric heaters, gas stoves, etc.
• To care for the "lacquered" babybay, wiping with a slightly damp cloth is sufficient.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners under any circumstances.
• The mattress cover can be removed and cleaned according to the instructions. The mattress core is not washable.
• Regularly turn and air your mattress to prevent mould stains.
• We only accept warranty claims if the above care instructions have been followed.
• Only use spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
Do not attach any accessories to the product that are not supplied by the manufacturer.
• Do not adjust the height of the cot with the child inside.
• Do not adjust the cot while the child is inside.
• Beech wood is a natural product; it is individual and unique in its colouring and structure.
Therefore, colour variations may occur even within one product. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause colour deviations in the product.
• During use, ensure that bedding, blankets, etc., do not enter the cot.
• Bedding and soft blankets can pose a choking hazard for newborns. Avoid placing pillows or similar items under the newborn to provide better comfort during sleep.
• Do NOT use babybay if any part is missing, damaged or broken. Contact Tobi GmbH & Co.KG for spare parts and instructions if necessary. DO NOT use makeshift parts.

• Only original connection systems approved by Tobi GmbH & Co.KG for this model may be used.
• Side cots must never be used in an inclined position.
• To prevent the risk of external suffocation due to trapping, the side cot must be securely attached to the adult bed using the connection system.
• There must never be a gap between the babybay mattress and the adult bed mattress.
• Check the fastening condition of the connection system before each use by pulling the side cot away from the adult bed in one direction.
• Do NOT use babybay if there is a gap between the side cot and the adult bed.
• Gaps should not be closed with pillows, blankets or other objects.
• Original model: Always use an original and approved mattress from Tobi GmbH & Co.KG with the dimensions 81cm x 41.5cm and a maximum thickness of 5cm.
• Maxi model: Always use an original and approved mattress from Tobi GmbH & Co.KG with the dimensions 89cm x 49.5cm and a maximum thickness of 6cm.
Remove all bags and packaging materials before use.
