• Do not use the crib once your baby can sit, kneel or stand up independently.
• Inserting additional objects into the product may cause choking.
• Do not place the product near another product as this could pose a choking or risk of strangulation, e.g. cords, blinds/curtain cords, etc.
• Do not use more than one mattress in the crib.
• Do not use this product before reading the instructions for use.
• Do not leave anything in the bed and do not place the bed near a product that could pose a trap or choking or risk of strangulation for the child's feet, such as threads, curtain cords, etc.
• Use only the mattress sold with this crib.
Do not add a second mattress as this creates a choking hazard.
DANGER! Always keep the side with the downward sliding rail closed when it is not attached to the adult bed.
INFORMATION
• The product must be placed on a flat surface.
• Children must not play unsupervised near the cradle.
• The cradle must be locked in the fixed position when the child is left unattended.
• Use only the supplied fastening system and no other fastening system.
• Before each use, check the fastening system by pulling the bedside cot in the opposite direction to the adult bed to ensure it is secure.
• There must be no gap between the low side of the bedside cot and the mattress of the adult bed.
• Do NOT USE the product if there is a gap between the bedside cot and the adult bed. Gaps must not be filled with pillows, blankets or other objects.
• Do NOT USE the cradle if parts are missing or damaged. Replacement parts and instructions are available from Dorel on request. Parts must not be replaced.
• Regularly check that no screws are loose on your crib and that no part can injure the baby or trap clothing (ribbon, pacifier, collar, etc.) and thus cause a risk of strangulation.
• To prevent choking hazards caused by trapping, the bedside cot must be securely connected to the adult bed using the fastening system.
• Maximum mattress thickness: 30 mm.
• The bedside cot must never be used in an inclined position.
• Consider the risks of open flames and other strong heat sources, e.g. electric fireplaces, gas fireplaces, etc., near the baby bed (cradle and hanging cradle).
Remove all bags and packaging materials before use.
