In the Recaro Axion child seat, your little passenger can sit comfortably from around 3 years to around 12 years. It is equipped with an adjustable headrest so that it can keep up with your little one's growth. Securing the seat in the car with the Isofix connectors makes it particularly safe. Alternatively, the seat can also be secured with the car seat belt.

The integrated Isofix connectors ensure that your child is securely and reliably fastened in the car, guaranteeing quick placement and optimum stabilization of the child seat. Alternatively, the seat can be secured with the 3-point vehicle belt. Thanks to the well-marked belt guide, you can see exactly how the vehicle belt must run correctly so that your little one really is strapped in correctly. The clever belt guide system prevents the belt from slipping or twisting so that it always fits properly during the journey.
The padded headrest with vibration-absorbing material and soft memory foam provides the necessary support for the sensitive head area. The innovative trapezoidal side impact protection provides extra protection. These absorb the energy in the event of a crash. The comfortable, pleasant seating experience in the Axion is rounded off with the softly padded seat foam, which adapts to the shape of your child's body. If spills occur in the seat, you can make the removable cover shine again by washing it in the machine.

With Isofix and use of 3-point belt system
Without Isofix and use of 3-point belt system
• The RECARO AXION 1 is supplied in two parts in one box. Please assemble the two parts into an AXION 1 child seat before installing it in the vehicle. The two parts must always be assembled to form a complete child seat and must never be used alone or separately.
• Never secure your child or the child seat with a 2-point harness, as this can lead to serious injury or death in the event of an accident.
• Do NOT use the child seat for longer than 12 years. The quality of the material may change over time.• Never leave your child unattended in the child seat!
Even if you leave the child alone in the car for just a few minutes, there is already a risk of heatstroke!
• The plastic parts of the child seat can heat up in the sun. The child can burn themselves. Protect the child and the child seat from intense sunlight, e.g. by placing a light-colored cloth over the seat or attaching an original summer cover.
• The child seat must never be used without a cover. The seat cover is a safety feature and may only be replaced by an original RECARO seat cover.
• If the child grows, the headrest of the child seat must be adjusted from time to time.
• Make sure that the vehicle belt is not twisted and that it lies flat against the child's body.
• The vehicle belt buckle must not lie directly against the lower belt guide. If the belt whip is too long, the child seat is not suitable for use in this position in the vehicle. If in doubt, please contact the manufacturer of your vehicle.
• Always secure the child seat correctly in the vehicle, even when it is not in use. Even in the event of emergency braking or a minor impact, unsecured parts can injure other passengers and yourself.
• The child seat should be replaced if it has been involved in an accident. An accident can damage the product without leaving visible traces.
• Keep packaging material out of the child's reach as there is a risk of suffocation!
