WARNINGS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING!

• Never leave the child unattended
• Ensure before use that all locks are engaged
• Make sure the child is out of reach when opening and folding the stroller to avoid injury

• This seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months
• Always use the restraint system
• Ensure before use that the stroller attachment or seat unit or car seat fastening elements are correctly engaged
• This product is not suitable for jogging or skating

• This product is suitable for children from 6 to 48 months or up to a maximum weight of 22 kg, whichever comes first.

• This product is designed for use by a child.
• The parking brake must be engaged when placing or removing the child.
• The shopping basket can be loaded with up to 5 kg.
• Any loads attached to the handlebar, back, backrest or sides of the stroller affect the stability of the stroller.
• Always use the crotch strap in conjunction with the pelvic belt.
• Use only approved accessories from your manufacturer.
• If you use the chassis in combination with a child car seat, this does not replace a cradle or cot. If your child needs to sleep, they should be placed in a suitable stroller attachment, cradle or cot.
• Use only approved spare parts from your manufacturer.
• Do not make any modifications that could compromise safety.
• Keep this product away from fire and other heat sources.
• When driving over steps or stairs or if your stroller is lifted or carried, you should always remove your child from the stroller. 

For use as a sports stroller

• Jogging and skating: A child is participating in your sporting activity: Be especially careful, especially at curbs, steps, uneven surfaces and obstacles.
• Do not use the stroller for running/jogging or skating before the child is 9 months old.
• The seat unit must always be placed in the most upright position and facing forward when running/jogging or skating!
• The swivel function of the front wheel (or wheels) must always be locked when running/jogging or skating.

Do not use the item for running/jogging or skating if it is equipped with a car seat or carrycot.
• The child in the stroller must be dressed warmer than the user and must be protected from rain or UV radiation.
• It is recommended for the adult to wear a reflective vest or clothing when running/skating in or near traffic.
• Jogging and skating: It is advisable to protect your child with appropriate protective equipment (e.g. a helmet).
• Check all parts of the stroller for integrity and function before sporting use.
• The stroller is not suitable for children under 9 months who are not yet able to sit up without support – risk to the child’s health and physical development.
• Loose objects may fall out of the basket.

Carrycot

• This product is suitable for a child who cannot sit independently, roll over or push up on hands and knees. Maximum child weight: 9 kg
Never use this carrycot on a stand
• Use only on a firm, horizontal, dry surface.
• Do not allow other children to play unsupervised near the carrycot.
• Do not use the carrycot if parts are broken, torn or missing.
• Do not leave the flexible carrying handles inside the carrycot.

• Use only approved accessories from your manufacturer.
• Keep this product away from fire and other heat sources.
• Use only the mattress supplied and do not add any additional mattress in the carrycot.
• Regularly check the carrying straps and base for damage.
• If your carrycot has carrying loops attached, these must not be inside the stroller attachment during use.
• Ensure your child’s head is always positioned higher than the rest of the body. 

Baby Car Seat

Do not use the child car seat on a seat with an active front airbag.
This is a child restraint system of category i-Size.
It is approved under regulation No. 129 for use on such vehicle seats that are suitable for i-Size restraint systems as specified by the vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle handbook.
If in doubt, consult the manufacturer of the child restraint system or the retailer. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approx. 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• Correct installation is likely if the vehicle manufacturer states in the vehicle handbook that the vehicle is suitable for a "universal" child restraint system of this age group.
• This child restraint system is classified under stricter conditions than "universal" compared to earlier models that do not carry this notice.

• In case of doubt, please contact the manufacturer or seller of the child restraint system.

• The safety of the child car seat is only guaranteed by the manufacturer if used by the first purchaser. For this reason, it is not recommended to buy a second-hand seat.
• The child car seat should not be used more than 5 years after purchase. The quality of the seat may be imperceptibly impaired by heavy use.
• Use the child car seat only on forward-facing car seats.
• Folding car seats must be securely locked.
• If the child car seat is fitted on the front passenger seat, the passenger seat must be pushed back as far as possible.
• The child car seat must not be used on car seats with airbag protection. If necessary, deactivate the airbag (ask your car dealer).
• The backrest of the front passenger seat must be set to the fully upright position. An adjustable headrest must be pushed to the lowest position.
• The child car seat must not be caught in the car door or folding seats; no heavy objects may be placed on the child car seat.
• Never hold your baby on your lap in the car. You cannot hold your baby securely against the immense forces released in an accident.
• Never place the car belt around yourself and the child.
• No modifications may be made to the child car seat or harnesses.
• Ensure the car safety belt is not damaged and fully functional.
• All belts intended for fastening the restraint system must be tightened. The belts holding the child must be fitted tightly. Make sure these belts are not twisted.
• Never leave your baby in the child car seat for too long. Although the child car seat offers optimal comfort, your child must regularly lie on their tummy to support healthy development.
• To avoid unnecessary heat stress, the baby seat should not be exposed to direct sunlight when not in use. Parts of the child car seat could become hot and burn your child.
• Use the child car seat even on short journeys.
Most accidents happen here.
• Never leave your child unattended in the child car seat or in the car.
• Set a good example and always fasten your seatbelt.
• Encourage your child never to play with the buckle.
• On longer journeys, take short breaks so your child has the opportunity to recover from the journey’s strain outside the vehicle.
• To ensure your child’s safety, please read these instructions carefully and follow the given assembly instructions exactly.
• The child car seat is tested and approved according to the European safety standard ECE R129. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approx. 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• The child car seat can only guarantee safety if used correctly.
• The child car seat can be attached with a three-point automatic belt both on the front passenger seat and on the rear seats, provided it complies with regulation ECE R16 or an equivalent standard.
We recommend placing the seat on the rear bench.
• The baby seat must not be secured with the pelvic belt alone.
• In the car, the child car seat must always be secured with the car belts, even if no child is in it.
• A loosely fitted seat can injure vehicle occupants during emergency braking or an accident.
• Children have a great urge to move and should therefore always remain strapped in the baby seat, even outside the car.
• Make sure the seat is not damaged by being trapped in the vehicle door, swivel car seats, objects placed on the child car seat (e.g. luggage) or similar.
• Do not make any changes to your child car seat. This could impair the safety of the seat.
• After an accident (even at low impact speeds over 10 km/h), damage may have occurred to the child car seat that is not necessarily visible. In this case, the child car seat must be replaced. Please dispose of it properly.
• We recommend checking before purchasing the child car seat whether it can be properly installed.
• Ensure that all luggage and objects that could injure occupants in the event of an accident or heavy braking are properly secured.
• Never place the child car seat with the child in it on an elevated surface such as a table, work surface, bed or shopping trolley.
The seat with the baby in it could fall down.
• The instruction manual should be kept in the designated storage compartment of the child car seat.
• The child restraint system must not be used without the fabric cover.
• As the fabric covers are an essential part of the restraint system, they may only be replaced with fabric covers recommended by the manufacturer.
• Keep the instruction manual in the designated compartment.
• Refer to your vehicle handbook for the location of the Isofix anchorages and the correct installation of i-Size restraint systems.

Insect Protection

WARNING! This item is not a toy.

Do not allow your child to play with it.

Never leave your child unattended with this product.

The insect net should always be firmly attached and not be able to be grabbed and pulled by your child.

Do not use if the net is torn.

Rain Cover Carrycot

WARNING! Use only under adult supervision.

When in use, ensure the rain cover does not come into contact with the child’s face.

Remove the rain cover in direct sunlight or high temperatures as the temperature under the hood could become too high.

Use only for strollers with a baby carrycot or carrybag.

Sun Canopy

WARNING! The sun canopy does not protect against heat.

 Ensure all cords are properly secured and check them several times during use.

 Remove from the stroller when not in use.

The sun canopy is not a toy and should therefore be kept out of reach of children.

Never leave the child unattended.

 UV rays can still reach the child despite the sun canopy, so additionally protect your child with sunscreen and clothing.

Insect Protection Baby Car Seat
