Öko-Test rates the Hauck Alpha+ wooden high chair with the test rating "GOOD" (May issue 2016). The Alpha+ is not only the cheapest chair in the test, but also the high chair with the highest load limit of 90 kg. In contrast to the other chairs in the test, the equipment includes not only the crotch strap but also an additional, adjustable 5-point restraint system. In the tilt safety test, the chair also receives the grade good. In current comparative tests, the Alpha still performs similarly today. However, you can now expand your Alpha much more individually and adapt it to the needs of your favorite.
Grows with your child: The height and depth of the seat and footplate can be adjusted to suit the growth phase of your child. You can combine the front bar with the 5-point restraint system or the crotch strap. This way, your little one can sit at the table together with you from about 6 months. The restraint system can be fixed to the backrest with Velcro and flexibly adjusted to the height of your child. The crotch strap is also easy to attach. You can use the belt systems as needed.
Even more flexible use with accessories: You can expand and adapt the Alpha high chair very flexibly with a large selection of accessories. With the help of the various newborn attachments, you can also use the chair for newborns. Thanks to many pads and seat cushions, you can customize the look of the Alpha and make it even more comfortable. Especially in the beginning it is practical if your child has its own little table at its chair. For this purpose, you can choose from various trays - whether made of wood or easy-to-clean plastic.
The Alpha+ high chair is very stable and tilt-resistant and the ideal high chair for children up to 12 years. Since the Alpha+ can bear a load of up to 90 kg, it can be used well beyond the child's years.
