Öko-Test rated the Hauck wooden highchair Alpha+ with the test rating "GOOD" (May 2016 issue). The Alpha+ is not only the most affordable chair in the test but also the highchair with the highest load capacity of 90 kg. Unlike the other chairs in the test, it features, in addition to the crotch strap, an additional adjustable 5-point harness system. The chair also received a good rating in the tip safety test. In current comparative tests, the Alpha still performs similarly. However, you can now customise your Alpha much more individually and adapt it to your little one’s needs.
Grows with your child: The seat and footplate can be adjusted in height and depth to suit your child’s individual growth stages. You can combine the front bar with the 5-point harness system or the crotch strap. This allows your little one to sit with you at the table from around 6 months old. The harness system can be fixed to the backrest with a Velcro strap and adjusted flexibly to your child’s height. The crotch strap is also easy to attach. You can use the harness systems as needed.
Even more flexible with accessories: You can expand and adapt the Alpha highchair very flexibly with a wide range of accessories. Using the various newborn attachments, you can also use the chair for newborns. Thanks to many cushions and seat pads, you can customise the Alpha visually and make it even more comfortable. Especially at the beginning, it is practical if your child has their own little table on their chair. For this, you will find various trays to choose from – whether made of wood or easy-care plastic.
The Alpha+ highchair is very stable and tip-resistant, making it the ideal highchair for children up to 12 years old. Since the Alpha+ supports up to 90 kg, it can also be used well beyond childhood.
