Comfortable on the go from birth
With this practical 2-piece set, you are equipped for the first outings with your baby. The ABC Design infant car seat Tulip i-Size in Black offers your little treasure a safe and comfortable place in the car. It is complemented by the Zamboo footmuff in Grey, which provides cosy warmth on chilly autumn and winter days thanks to its soft thermo-fleece.
The infant car seat accompanies your child from a height of 45 cm up to 85 cm or a weight of 13 kg. With its adjustable headrest and modular seat reducer, it grows with your baby. The footmuff can be quickly opened and flexibly adjusted to the temperature thanks to practical Velcro fasteners.
Safety on every car journey
The ABC Design Tulip i-Size is designed for rearward-facing transport of your baby from birth up to about 15 months. It meets the European i-Size safety standard and features integrated side impact protection. In the child car seat test by Stiftung Warentest 10/2020, the Tulip with Isofix received the rating GOOD (2.2).
For installation in the car, you have two options: you can secure the infant car seat with the vehicle belt or use a separately available Isofix base. On the matching base, the infant car seat can be easily clicked in. The integrated 3-point harness securely holds your baby in the seat, while the harness pads reduce pressure and prevent uncomfortable digging in.
Growing seating comfort
To ensure even the smallest passengers feel comfortable from the start, the ABC Design infant car seat is equipped with a removable, modular seat reducer. This offers your newborn additional support and can be adjusted to your child's development. If more space is needed, you can remove the insert.
The headrest is adjustable in 4 heights and allows individual adaptation to your baby's height. Additionally, the infant car seat can be set to a semi-reclined or lying position. This offers your little treasure a comfortable posture and comfort during a nap on the go.
Lightweight infant car seat & practical sunshade
Weighing only 4.1 kg, the ABC Design Tulip i-Size can be comfortably carried between car and home. This makes it a practical companion for family life. The foldable sun canopy offers UV protection 50+ and protects your baby in sunny weather. You can also click the infant car seat onto a compatible stroller frame and use it as a practical travel system. If the cover needs cleaning, it can be easily removed.
Cosy footmuff
The Zamboo footmuff in Grey complements the infant car seat with a warming companion for chilly days. Its inside is made of soft thermo-fleece that warmly wraps your baby. The wind- and water-repellent outer side provides extra protection in changeable autumn and winter weather.
Thanks to the hood and the surrounding elastic band, you can wrap the footmuff more snugly around your baby, providing additional wind protection. The dirt-repellent outer material also makes it especially practical for everyday use.
Practical Velcro fastener
With the Velcro fastener of the Zamboo footmuff, you can quickly wrap and unwrap your baby. This is especially practical when switching between cold outdoor air and warm indoor rooms. You can easily open the footmuff and adjust the covering to the respective temperature. Unlike a classic footmuff, the footmuff can be fully opened. This allows you to use it as a play mat or changing pad if needed.
Versatile use & easy care
The Zamboo footmuff is suitable for many infant car seats, Group 0+ car seats, and carrycots. Its belt slots allow use with numerous 3- and 5-point harness systems. Please observe the manufacturer's specified restrictions for infant car seats with integrated 5-point harnesses.
Care is also uncomplicated: the footmuff can be machine washed at 40 °C. A matching storage bag is included in the set for transport and storage.

WARNINGS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
Do not use the child seat on a seat with an active front airbag.
This is a child restraint system of the i-Size category.
It has been approved according to Regulation No. 129 for use on those vehicle seats which, according to the vehicle manufacturer's information in the vehicle manual, are suitable for i-Size restraint systems.
In case of doubt, the manufacturer of the child restraint system or the retailer can be consulted. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approx. 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• Correct installation is likely if the vehicle manufacturer states in the vehicle manual that the vehicle is suitable for a "universal" child restraint device of this age group.
• This child restraint device is classified under stricter conditions than "universal" compared to earlier models that do not carry this notice.
• In case of doubt, please contact the manufacturer or the seller of the child restraint device.
• The safety of the child seat is only guaranteed by the manufacturer when used by the first purchaser. For this reason, it is not recommended to buy a second-hand seat.
• The child car seat should not be used more than 5 years after purchase. The quality of the seat may be imperceptibly impaired by heavy use.
• Use the child seat only on forward-facing car seats.
• Folding car seats must be firmly locked.
• If the child seat is installed on the front passenger seat, the passenger seat must be pushed as far back as possible.
• The child seat must not be used on car seats with airbag protection. If necessary, deactivate the airbag (ask your car dealer).
• The backrest of the front passenger seat must be set to the fully upright position. An adjustable headrest must be pushed to the lowest position.
• The child seat must not be caught in the car door or in folding seats; no heavy objects may lie on the child seat.
• Never hold your baby on your lap in the car. You cannot hold your baby against the immense forces that can be released in an accident.
• Never place the seat belt around yourself and the child.
• No modifications may be made to the child seat or the belts.
• Ensure that the car safety belt is not damaged and is fully functional.
• All belts intended to secure the restraint system must be tightened. The belts holding the child must be fitted tightly. Make sure these belts are not twisted.
• Never leave your baby in the child seat for too long. Although the child seat offers optimal comfort, your child must regularly lie on their stomach. This supports healthy development.
• To avoid exposing your child to unnecessary heat stress, the baby seat should not be exposed to direct sunlight when not in use. Parts of the child seat could become hot and burn your child.
• Use the child seat even on short trips.
Most accidents happen here.
• Never leave your child unattended in the child seat or in the car.
• Set a good example and always fasten your seat belt.
• Encourage your child never to play with the buckle.
• Take short breaks on long journeys so your child has the opportunity to recover from the strain of the trip outside the vehicle.
• To ensure your child's safety, please read these instructions carefully,
and follow the specified installation instructions exactly.
• The child seat is tested and approved according to the European safety standard ECE R129. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approx. 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• The child seat can only guarantee safety if used correctly.
• The child seat can be secured with a three-point automatic belt on the front passenger seat as well as on the rear seats, provided it complies with Regulation ECE R16 or an equivalent standard.
We recommend placing the seat on the back seat.
• The baby seat must not be secured with the lap belt alone.
• In the car, the child seat must always be secured with the car belts, even if no child is in it.
• A loosely fitted seat can injure vehicle occupants during emergency braking or an accident.
• Children have a strong urge to move and should therefore always remain strapped in the baby seat, even outside the car.
• Make sure the seat is not damaged by being pinched in the vehicle door, rotating car seats, objects placed on the child seat (e.g. luggage), or similar.
• Do not make any modifications to your child seat. The safety of the seat could be impaired.
• After an accident (even at low impact speeds over 10 km/h), damage may have occurred to the child car seat that is not necessarily visible. In this case, the child car seat must be replaced. Please dispose of it properly.
• We recommend checking before purchasing the child seat whether it can be installed properly.
• Ensure that all luggage and objects that could injure occupants in the event of an accident or heavy braking are sufficiently secured.
• Never place the child seat with the child in it on an elevated surface such as a table, work surface, bed, or shopping trolley.
The seat with the baby inside could fall.
• The instruction manual should be stored in the designated storage compartment of the child seat.
• The child restraint system must not be used without the fabric cover.
• Since the fabric covers are an essential part of the restraint system, they may only be replaced with the fabric covers recommended by the manufacturer.
• Keep the instruction manual in the designated compartment.
• Consult your vehicle manual for the location of the Isofix anchorages and the correct installation of i-Size restraint systems.
Remove all bags and packaging materials before use.
