Comfortable on the go from birth
With this practical set consisting of the ABC Design infant car seat Tulip i-Size in Black and the Zamboo footed swaddle blanket in Grey, you are equipped for the first car rides and outings with your baby. The infant car seat offers your little one a comfortable place in the car, while the cosy swaddle blanket provides pleasant warmth on cold autumn and winter days.
The ABC Design Tulip i-Size accompanies your child from birth up to about 15 months. Thanks to its adjustable features, it can be adapted to your baby’s development. The Zamboo swaddle blanket is suitable for children up to approximately 70 cm in height and keeps little legs snugly wrapped with its separate foot sections.
Safety on car journeys
The ABC Design Tulip i-Size meets the European i-Size safety standard and is designed for rear-facing transport of babies with a height of 45 to 85 cm and a weight up to 13 kg. The integrated side impact protection complements the safety features. In the Stiftung Warentest car seat test 10/2020, the Tulip with Isofix was rated GOOD (2.2).
For attachment, you can choose between the vehicle seatbelt and a separately available Isofix base. On the matching base station, the infant car seat can be easily clicked in. The integrated 3-point harness with soft shoulder pads keeps your baby secure in the seat and reduces uncomfortable pressure.
Adjustable infant insert & individually adjustable comfort
For the first period after birth, the ABC Design infant car seat is equipped with a modular newborn insert. This provides your baby with additional support and can be removed as soon as more space is needed. The 4-position height-adjustable headrest allows individual adaptation to your child’s height. Additionally, the infant car seat can be positioned in a semi-reclined or reclined position. This way, your little one enjoys comfortable support even during naps on the go.
Lightweight infant car seat & reliable sun protection
Weighing only 4.1 kg, the ABC Design Tulip i-Size is easy to carry and transport between car and home. This makes many journeys in everyday family life easier for you. The foldable sun canopy offers UV protection 50+ and protects your baby in sunny weather. Additionally, you can attach the infant car seat to a compatible stroller frame and use it as a practical travel system. The cover can be easily removed if needed.
Warm feet in winter
The Zamboo footed swaddle blanket in Grey is a cosy companion for cold autumn and winter days. The padded, quilted blanket with soft fleece keeps your newborn comfortably warm. Its hood additionally protects the head from cold and draughts. A special feature is the individually shaped foot sections. They keep your baby’s legs warm and prevent the blanket from simply being kicked off. This way, your little one stays snugly wrapped during outings.
Versatile use
The Zamboo swaddle blanket has practical button-openings for 3-point and 5-point harness systems. This allows the straps to be conveniently guided through the designated areas without having to thread them through narrow slots. The lower strap area is guided upwards between the two foot sections.
Quick to pack and unpack
With the Velcro fastener, you can easily open and close the Zamboo swaddle blanket. This allows you to quickly wrap or unwrap your baby. This is especially practical when moving between cold outdoor areas and warm indoor spaces. The Velcro fastener only sticks to the designated counterpart, protecting clothing and car seat. The separate foot sections also ensure that your baby cannot simply kick off the blanket.
Easy-care materials & space-saving storage
The Zamboo swaddle blanket is made of 100% cotton on the inside. The outer material and padding consist of 100% polyester. All materials used comply with OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100.
After an outing, the swaddle blanket can be cleaned in the washing machine at 40 °C. When not in use, you can store it space-savingly in the included bag and carry it conveniently.

WARNINGS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
Do not use the child seat on a seat with an active front airbag.
This is a child restraint system of the i-Size category.
It has been approved according to Regulation No. 129 for use on those vehicle seats which, according to the vehicle manufacturer's information in the vehicle manual, are suitable for i-Size restraint systems.
In case of doubt, the manufacturer of the child restraint system or the retailer can be consulted. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approx. 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• Correct installation is likely if the vehicle manufacturer states in the vehicle manual that the vehicle is suitable for a “universal” child restraint system for this age group.
• This child restraint system has been classified under stricter conditions as “universal” than previous models that do not carry this notice.
• In case of doubt, please contact the manufacturer or the seller of the child restraint system.
• The safety of the child seat is only guaranteed by the manufacturer if it is used by the first purchaser. For this reason, it is not recommended to buy a second-hand seat.
• The child car seat should not be used more than 5 years after purchase. The quality of the seat may be imperceptibly impaired by heavy use.
• Use the child seat only on forward-facing car seats.
• Folding car seats must be firmly locked.
• If the child seat is installed on the front passenger seat, the passenger seat must be pushed as far back as possible.
• The child seat must not be used on car seats with airbag protection. If necessary, deactivate the airbag (ask your car dealer).
• The backrest of the front passenger seat must be set to a fully upright position. An adjustable headrest must be pushed to the lowest position.
• The child seat must not be caught in the car door or folding seats; no heavy objects may lie on the child seat.
• Never hold your baby on your lap in the car. You cannot hold your baby against the immense forces released in an accident.
• Never place the seat belt around yourself and the child.
• No modifications may be made to the child seat or the belts.
• Ensure that the car seat belt is not damaged and is fully functional.
• All belts intended for securing the restraint system must be tightened. The belts holding the child must be applied tightly. Make sure these belts are not twisted.
• Never leave your baby in the child seat for too long. Although the child seat offers optimal comfort, your child must regularly lie on their tummy. This supports their healthy development.
• To avoid exposing your child to unnecessary heat, the baby seat should not be exposed to direct sunlight when not in use. Parts of the child seat could become hot and burn your child.
• Use the child seat even on short journeys.
Most accidents happen here.
• Never leave your child unattended in the child seat or in the car.
• Set a good example and always fasten your seat belt.
• Encourage your child never to play with the seat belt buckle.
• Take short breaks on long journeys so your child has the opportunity to recover from the strain of the trip outside the vehicle.
• To ensure your child's safety, please read these instructions carefully,
and follow the specified installation instructions exactly.
• The child seat is tested and approved according to the European safety standard ECE R129. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approx. 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• The child seat can only guarantee safety if used correctly.
• The child seat can be secured with a three-point automatic belt both on the front passenger seat and on the rear seats, provided it complies with Regulation ECE R16 or an equivalent standard.
We recommend placing the seat on the rear bench.
• The baby seat must not be secured with the lap belt alone.
• In the car, the child seat must always be secured with the car belts, even if no child is in it.
• A loosely installed seat can injure vehicle occupants in an emergency brake or accident.
• Children have a strong urge to move and should therefore always remain buckled in the baby seat, even outside the car.
• Make sure the seat is not damaged by being trapped in the vehicle door, swivel car seats, objects placed on the child seat (e.g., luggage), or similar.
• Do not make any modifications to your child seat. The safety of the seat could be compromised.
• After an accident (even at low impact speeds over 10 km/h), damage to the car child seat may have occurred that is not necessarily visible. In this case, the car child seat must be replaced. Please dispose of it properly.
• We recommend checking before purchasing the child seat whether it can be properly installed.
• Ensure that all luggage and objects that could injure occupants in case of an accident or sudden braking are sufficiently secured.
• Never place the child seat with the child in it on an elevated surface such as a table, work surface, bed, or shopping trolley.
The seat with the baby inside could fall.
• The instruction manual should be kept in the designated storage compartment of the child seat.
• The child restraint system must not be used without the fabric cover.
• As the fabric covers are an essential part of the restraint system, they may only be replaced with the fabric covers recommended by the manufacturer.
• Keep the instruction manual in the designated compartment.
• Consult your vehicle manual for the position of the Isofix anchorages and the correct installation of i-Size restraint systems.
Remove all bags and packaging materials before use.
